Jabra
PanaCast USB cameras and BYOD bars, Android video-bar systems, Windows room bundles, extensible room kits, the Reach managed BYOD extension, personal collaboration devices and fleet tooling through Jabra Plus, Direct and Xpress.
Jabra Direct 8.3.26701 was released on 30 September with fixes for PanaCast 50 units stuck in firmware recovery and error 27 during Evolve2 50 firmware updates. Jabra also reached its stated 5 October availability date for the managed HDBaseT-based Jabra Reach BYOD extension.
Jabra is building a stepped collaboration-hardware portfolio from personal video and simple BYOD through native Android rooms and modular larger spaces, while standardizing cable extension, device management and firmware controls around the PanaCast estate.
Deploy Jabra Direct 8.3.26701 through a controlled ring where PanaCast 50 recovery or Evolve2 50 updates are operational concerns, and confirm recovery behaviour before broad use. Verify Jabra Reach regional stock before committing delivery dates.
