Core review ran; source-class gaps remain

The 21 October protected core review accepted two newly announced Zoom signals from official 20 October Zoomtopia disclosures. Zoom confirmed High Frame Rate Screen Sharing and Microsoft Purview sensitivity-label integration as available now, while Voice Translator, shared-room personal sign-in, enhanced Teams interoperability, centralized AI management, deepfake-risk detection and other controls remain dated forecasts. The official Zoom newsroom was added to the coverage contract. Thirty-two of 36 registered source IDs produced verifiable public content. Microsoft Message Center and Extron lifecycle returned non-verifiable shells, HP / Poly VideoOS exposed no usable release content and Lenovo ThinkSmart Manager returned HTTP 403. Missing class-specific endpoints still prevent strict verification of any of the 24 vendor groups. CISA added no new KEV record; 2,630 modified NVD records and 15 broad name matches were reviewed, with none affecting the tracked collaboration products. The separate 22 October Events review checked the previous calendar day across Zoomtopia, Security Canada Central, BUILDEX Alberta and InfoComm América Latina. No new in-scope material signal was accepted; the calendar and signal ledger were unchanged. The 19 October Industry Metrics review was preserved.

Vendor source reviewAll 36 registered source IDs were attempted or directly verified on 21 October. Thirty-two produced verifiable public content. Two official Zoom announcements dated 20 October met the evidence and materiality gates, and the official Zoom newsroom was added to the coverage contract. Microsoft Message Center and Extron lifecycle returned non-verifiable shells, HP / Poly VideoOS exposed no usable release content and Lenovo ThinkSmart Manager returned HTTP 403. Strict verification remains 0 of 24 groups because several vendors still lack registered endpoints for every applicable source class.

Security cross-checkOfficial vendor advisory surfaces, CISA KEV and NVD were checked through 11:21 UTC on 21 October. CISA added no new KEV record. NVD returned 2,630 modified records and 15 broad name matches; the matches concerned unrelated Dell products, a Java package using a zoom namespace and a TP-Link camera. No tracked collaboration-product security signal was accepted.

Events reviewZoomtopia, Security Canada Central, BUILDEX Alberta and InfoComm América Latina are active on 22 October. The separate Events task reviewed 21 October. Zoom's dated recap covered customer experience outside the current ledgers, while the official organizer surfaces for the three in-person shows documented schedules and demonstrations without a canonical product, availability, lifecycle or roadmap change. No new signal was accepted; the Show-floor Wire and event freshness were updated without changing the calendar or signal ledger.

Industry metrics reviewThe separate 19 October Industry Metrics review rechecked Microsoft, Zoom and Cisco/Webex across official investor, newsroom, product/release, conference, keynote/session, deck/transcript, executive-interview and analyst-briefing sources, including InfoComm, ISE, Enterprise Connect, Build, Cisco Live and completed WebexOne materials. Zoomtopia's Americas keynote begins 20 October and Ignite begins 17 November. No newer comparable room- or platform-scale disclosure was found; verification and the rolling freshness cutoff advanced without changing a displayed figure, definition, qualifier or deep link.

Site build and rendered-page testsThe coverage contract validator passed with the truthful incomplete state (0 of 24 vendor groups strictly verified), the x64 Vinext production build completed and all 23 rendered-page tests passed for the 22 October event-only update.

Public site publicationThe validated 22 October Show-floor Wire, event freshness and event coverage update was published publicly.

A dash means the first controlled run has not completed. “No material signal” will be shown separately from incomplete source coverage.

ZoomFeatureHighNewly announced 20 Oct 2026; High Frame Rate Screen Sharing confirmed available; Voice Translator expected Nov 2026; Bring Your Own Zoom expected Dec 2026; enhanced Microsoft Teams connectivity expected H1 2027

Zoom sets a mixed availability roadmap for meeting and room experience changes

Zoom Meetings and Zoom Spaces

Zoom announced Voice Translator for all-participant translated audio, High Frame Rate Screen Sharing, Bring Your Own Zoom for personal sign-in on shared rooms, and enhanced Microsoft Teams meeting connectivity from Zoom Rooms. High Frame Rate Screen Sharing is available now; the other highlighted capabilities are forecast from November 2026 through the first half of 2027.

Why it matters

Enable the released 60 fps sharing option only after validating Enhanced Media licensing, Ultra HD prerequisites and network capacity. Treat Voice Translator, shared-room personal sign-in and richer Teams interoperability as pilots until Zoom publishes release notes, licensing and tenant controls; the announcement is not proof that those features are deployable today.

High enterprise and government relevance because the announcement changes meeting accessibility, presentation quality, shared-room identity and cross-platform room planning, but most of the capabilities remain forecasts
ZoomPlatformHighNewly announced 20 Oct 2026; Microsoft Purview sensitivity-label integration described as available now; centralized AI management and deepfake risk detection expected Dec 2026; compliance archiving expected Jan 2027; custom guardrails expected Q1 2027

Zoom announces centralized AI governance and deepfake-risk controls

Zoom AI governance and meeting controls

Zoom announced Centralized AI Management, custom AI guardrails, Microsoft Purview sensitivity-label integration for Zoom Meetings and Whiteboard, Compliance Manager support for My Notes and Canvas, and real-time deepfake risk detection. Only the Purview label integration is described as available now; the other controls are forecast between December 2026 and Q1 2027.

Why it matters

Security and records teams can validate the available Purview label integration now. Do not place deepfake detection, centralized AI policy, custom guardrails or AI-output archiving into production control baselines until Zoom publishes licensing, regional availability, audit behaviour, detection limits and release evidence.

High enterprise and government relevance because the controls affect meeting classification, AI oversight, records retention and participant-risk workflows, while most remain announced rather than released
